Rachel Kent is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Psychiatry.
She is qualified to diagnose and treat various mental health conditions including mental illnesses and mental health using a combination of pharmaceutical and psychological treatments.
Working in the NHS, Rachel has intimate knowledge of how to navigate NHS services including referring in if required. She works both clinically on the front line as well as senior management.
In addition to her practice, she is an associate lecturer, speaker, researcher and publisher.
Furthermore, one of the defining successes in Rachel’s career thus far has been re-designing problem and under-performing services and turning them around into efficient, functional and high-performing teams – skills which are transferrable into most corporations. Rachel does this by identifying both system problems but also personnel challenges. When finding solutions, she considers the people involved and how to get their buy in when proposing any changes that impact them to maximise success.
